This is what I saw that wonderful morning of our first Hautapu held out Te Hikuwai o te ROTOITI,
Matariki rose exactly over Huiterangiora, Matawhau, ‘Te Waka a Rangi’ could clearly be seen, as the sun appeared to be coming out of the ‘Rua’ from Tauwhare,
